Various levels of ergonomic system complexity exist and appropriate care is needed when integrating an ergonomic program into an operation. The underlying design, required resources, education, and level of leadership involvement will vary. A risk analysis of 50 display screen users will require a far simpler solution than a project involved with complex human factor interactions and decision-making situations such as designing new operational lines or emergency response procedures.
